Arrival at the Ceremony

To limit the information and access to the venue, we have opted to hire coaches to pick up our guests from a central location in Malindi. Guests will be dropped back to the same spot at the end of the night. We shall send you more information on this upon your RSVP and confirmation of pick-up points.

Travel

For guests traveling by air, the airport of arrival should be Malindi Airport. It is about a 50-minute flight from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Airport. You can find flights from Nairobi to Malindi through Jambojet or Skyward.

Other travel options include driving – about 10–12 hours from Nairobi (566 KMs). You can also opt to take the standard gauge rail SGR from Nairobi to Mombasa, but please note that you’d still have to spend about 3 hours on the road from Mombasa to Malindi – which is currently under construction, making it a bit of an unpleasant drive.

Accommodation

We have booked out the retreat to accommodate the brides and their families. We would love for you to stay somewhere nearby so we can spend some extra time together. We are linking a few options here for your consideration.

Logistically, Malindi would be the closest base to the wedding venue (15 minutes by car). However, Watamu would also be a good option, as it has great beaches, restaurants, and activity options. It’s about 40 minutes from the venue.
